It also satisfies the Math/Science/ Computer requirement of GER. It's the prerequisite for the next computer class, CMIS 150. Students will begin to learn how to program computers using the Pascal programming language. We cover the first seven chapters of the textbook. Numerous small program- ming exercises will comprise the bulk of the homework. Programming is best learned by programming, so students should expect to spend a lot of time using the computers in the lab. Textbook Introduction to Pascal and Structured Design, by N. Dale and C.
